Craft of the Week: 05/26-06/02 - Egg Carton Turtles

Egg Carton Turtles

Materials: 

• Egg carton

• Scissors

• Glue

• Green paint

• Pom poms

• Googly eyes

• Paint brush

• Dotter sponge tool

Instructions:

1. Cut out one “egg” section from the egg carton. 

2. Paint the outside of it green (or whatever color you want your turtle to be!)

3. Wait for the paint to dry. Once dry, take the dotter sponge and add dots using a different color. 

4. Glue “feet” on the bottom “legs” of the egg carton piece.

5. Glue the head in between two of the legs using a larger pom pom.

6. Glue googly eyes to the large pom pom.

7. Make more friends for your turtle!
