Craft of the Week: 02/17 - 02/23: Pom Pom Catapult

Inspired by: Little Bins for Little Hands

Materials: 

• Toilet paper roll

• Latex balloon, 12” 

• Pom poms, assorted

• Duct tape

• Construction paper

• Scissors

• Ruler

• Scissors

Instructions:

1. Decorate your toilet paper roll with your construction paper and stickers. Wrap the paper around your toilet paper roll, and cut off how much you need. 

2. Cut off the top part of the balloon. 

3. Tie a knot at the bottom of the balloon.

4. Fit the open end of the balloon over one end of the toilet paper roll, making sure the knot is in the center of the toilet paper roll. 

5. Put some tape on the balloon to attach it to the toilet paper roll. 

6. Load up the catapult with pom poms. 

7. Hold the catapult backwards so the balloon is tilted towards the floor. Pull the balloon knot back and let it go. Watch the pom poms fly!
